01:16:36
Ah. Now I see. thanks for doing that.

01:16:42
Grand Rapids Michigan; Thanks Julia this is a lengthy statement but its a sort of epiphany as a resident services worker as we examine this topic Grand Rapids It is obvious that while providing safe, affordable housing to low-income families, the reality is that all the risks inherent in real estate investments exist with as with any tax credit projects, along with substantial additional compliance restrictions, and other risks unique to the tax credit projectsFrom the little I admit that I know of the inner workings of asset management as a resident services support provider I have been intentional to learn more. I have learned that the Grand Rapids public and entire Kent county philanthropic sectors and United Way and other charitable organizations have played an important role in the Grand Rapids in reshaping some portions of the current system to generate more private investment in activities especially during the pandemic to assist with daily living needs and eviction prevention.

01:19:44
That part about "ah now I see" wasn't for you Colleen. You have a good question, so please retype into the Q&A.

01:23:32
Yes Donovan thank you for naming this

01:23:49
@CrystalCunningham Do you have any documentation on alcohol/substance use increase? I have a study launching next week seeking to track this. Thx in advance.

01:25:07
Yes yes yes.

01:25:59
Dwelling Place: Our asset manager has been extremely intentional to partner with Resident Services to help give us a clear perspective on the activities by the contributors to give credence to the need continue those intentional conversations so we are building our own creativity for commuinications

01:26:32
No I would love to see that track study

01:27:23
AMEN, MR. DONOVAN!!!!!!

01:29:16
Thank you Donovan for that!

01:30:56

01:31:53
Please answer the stress question quickly. We need to have time for Q&A

01:36:38
How about retyping your question to the participants?

01:36:42
An altar for your team - how beautiful!

01:36:47
Thank you Melissa you have describe much of what a lot of us feel. The vicissitudes that come with so many things happening at once, political unrest, racial and high economic changes, losses due to death, loss of financial stability and the ravages of the pandemic impact the ability to do the work, create new ways to reach out and do the work and balance that with the gratitude of having a job and being present

01:37:23
Hello, this is off subject but wondering if anyone has a MOU template they wouldn't mind sharing? Looking for something to use for third party vendors like hair stylist and yoga teachers at senior properties, etc.

01:37:25
Pleasea keep your answers short!

01:39:16
@Stacy --https://coresonline.org/resources for a number of templates including MOUs

01:39:36
Elizabeth Wifi is essential just for most of the seniors I serve to stay connected with their families and the rest of the world thank you for sharing that model

01:39:43
In California, state community development department does not allow spending on services outside of salaries and benefits. Allowing the true cost of services to be included in proformas and operating budgets would be extremely helpful in providing the quality services residents need.

01:40:53
Thank you so much Alexandra!!

01:43:14
Yes, digital inclusion is way behind not just due to cost but access in various areas. Additionally, where residents have to rely on cellphone connectivity access is frequently not good enough for web conferencing, telehealth, etc., which require stable, higher bandwidth connections.

01:43:49
Panelists and Harold - Please wrap up so we can get to the questions from the audience.

01:44:04
To the point Joan made -- sounds like it's time for full broadband to become understood as required utilities at our properties. Perhaps w a fee just like utilities come w a fee … but it'd be viewed as PART of the utilities required for housing.

01:44:45
This has completely become a focus for our Resident Services team; with the level of virtual connectivity needed to just be minimally involved in today's world, our communities are at a significant disadvantage due to the digital divide consistently seen across low-income communities and the lack of digital literacy across all age groups.

01:49:45
I think it starts with educating each other on roles and how they can successfully interact (ie) asset management to learn re: Res Serv and vice versa

01:54:18
thank you all so much - this was incredibly helpful.

01:55:02
Thank your an excellent program.
